The fourth round of RPP was different than the others. We had to focus on working with an IP (Intellectual Property) which is very common in the industry. Our team got Spaceballs as our IP. Dick Squirlé: Private Investigator
Our second FIEA rapid prototype was titled Dick Squirlé: Private Investigator and had us explore story in games using Panda 3D. Our professor (Ron Weaver) challenged us to explain story completely through game elements without giving him any information before our presentation. A private investigator theme lent itself well to this. The game focused on stealth. Continue reading
Game Job Finder
Finding a game job is tough in this economy so I whipped up a little tool to help myself: the Game Job Finder. It loads a company’s website in an iframe so you can easily flick from one site’s job page to another without having to go through a bunch of links.
