Spaceballs - Title Screen
The fourth round of RPP was different than the others. We had to focus on working with an IP (Intellectual Property) which is very common in the industry. Our team got Spaceballs as our IP. We thought to ourselves, “How can we make a game using Spaceballs that would be fun and in the spirit of the IP?” Our answer: think like Yogurt. Read more
Cage Fight - Title Screen
For our third FIEA rapid prototype, we were challenged to come up with a game in 2 weeks that explored emergent gameplay. We decided that having players wield spells and having players use combinations of them would benefit us this round. Read more
Dick Squirlé - Early Model
Our second FIEA rapid prototype was titled Dick Squirlé: Private Investigator and had us explore story in games using Panda 3D. Our professor (Ron Weaver) challenged us to explain story completely through game elements without giving him any information before our presentation. A private investigator theme lent itself well to this. The game focused on stealth. Read more
